An introduction to the philosophy and practice of the Montessori approach for the child under the age of three. The course components include lecture, reading and discussion and practical activities for a total of 60 hours

About the Trainer

Tiina Suominen, comes from Finland. She trained in Denver with Judi Orion and Maria Teresa “Chacha” Vidales on the Assistant to Infancy level and in Washington D.C with Hildegart Soltzbacher to 3-6- level and is an AMI trainer on the Assistant to Infancy level. She has been working with children age 0-6 more than 20 years. Tiina runs her own Montessori School, called Mammolina, on Helsinki, Finland.

Further requirements for the students:

  • Submission of three papers (500 words each) on topics set by the Trainer to be submitted by a date stipulated by the training centre/organising body.

  • In order to obtain the Course Certificate, a minimum of 90% attendance is required.

  • Observation Reports
